Lightweight, elegant, and simple to knit, the Twirly Poncho is a great addition to any little girl’s wardrobe.
Knit in a soft cotton blend, it can be worn as a swim coverup, or a light sweater.
Featured in 3 sizes - infant, toddler, and child. Ruby is wearing the toddler size.

Pattern is for personal use only.

PATTERN NOTES: In my original design, I intended for the feather and fan to not line up - minimizing the “wave” along the bottom edge. However, after receiving numerous emails from frustrated knitters, it is clear that most people WANT the bottom edge to ripple and are irritated when the feather and fan do not line up. My sincerest apologies! I am updating the pattern to give both options, and will be sending out the updated version to all who have purchased this pattern.

Another issue that people have contacted me about is trouble keeping the correct stitch count. I advise using stitch markers between each feather and fan repeat. That way a dropped stitch, missed yarnover, or missed K2tog can be caught quickly.
