FOR EXPERIENCED KNITTERS ONLY
A kinetic design that comes alive when modeled. It stretches, hugs, pulls, twists, and ties for a very flattering, sexy look.

This lace weight, creamy soft, sexy little summer top is knit in 3 pieces then finished with twisted cord straps.

The bodice is all garter stitch, and will be twisted in the front, and tied in the back.

The skirt is made in 2 pieces: front and back. It is knit in stockinette stitch with a lace border on the bottom and eyelet ribbing at the top, threaded with ¼ inch elastic. After both skirt pieces are complete, they are sewn together at the side seams and the elastic is threaded through the eyelet.

The top is twisted, tied at the back, and attached to the skirt, leaving 2 openings: a small one under the center chest and a longer one at the center back. (See both in pic of back.) To get a comfortable fit, it is tried on and pinned (top to skirt and straps to top) before being pieced together.

The design uses stretch, twist, gathers, pull, and ties to create a kinetic design. See how flat knit pieces can come alive!
