My friend Shelley doesn’t mind mismatched socks and loves to knit with self-striping yarn. While I love the look of striped socks, usually working with this kind of yarn makes me want to ‘manipulate’ the stripes. These socks, knit from a ‘split skein’ with reversed colourways were designed to meet the preferences of both of us.

The sock pattern, which is knitted from the top down with an afterthought heel, comes in three sizes to fit leg circumference:
S - 7” (17.5 cm), M - 8” (20 cm), L - 9” (22.5 cm)
Leg length and foot length are adjustable.

You can choose to work the pattern either from the
charts or the written instructions.
