The name of this bag comes from the twisted stockinette stitch that forms its body - and the fact that it is knit from one skein of Lion Incredible ribbon yarn.

Although the bag is knit on small needles to give it some good firmness, it still needs to be lined. The twisted stockinette stitch gives both visual and knitting interest, and makes the bag a bit tighter to boot. Note: Ktbl = Knit through back loop.

This was the April 28th & 29th pattern in the 2009 Pattern-a-Day calendar.
