I love wearing shawls and the Twisted Swallowtail Shawl is a favorite of mine to don in any season.  Perfect even for summertime wear due to its light weight, the no-adjustment-necessary front twist will have you forgetting you are even wearing a shawl!  This pattern is simple to knit and can be done so in a variety of fibers as shown in the pictures.
(double twist full size - 50/50 wool silk blend, swallowtail back full size - bamboo, pointed back petite version - corn, single twist petite version - wool cotton blend)
The pattern is a faux mobius with 4 design variations (as pictured; double twisted, split swallowtail back, pointed back, or single twist,) and two available size ranges (average height and petite).
