This cowl breaks the rules a bit by combining a highly variegated and speckled yarn with a cable stitch pattern. Despite the mix of the two, the all-over cable pattern creates a cozy texture without taking away from the complex colors of the yarn. The simple and straight-forward cables make this an excellent first-cable project. Follow the chart or the written instructions.
