This is my first ever shawl knitting pattern and I immensely enjoyed getting to understand how the shaping of different types of triangles works and how to combine them into a harmonious piece.

The basis forms an elongated side-to-side triangle with a fashionable cable along its longest side. The stitches are then picked up from the opposite sides and combined in a top-down triangle, that is formed by increases along the midline and short rows shaping at the opposite angles.
