Twitch is an easy going, best friend sweater. Throw it on over jeans, leggings or narrow skirt, and go!

Irregular stripes invite you to have fun playing with colour. Panels make this a easily portable project.

The uneven hem helps the sweater drape just right.

Welcome to your new favourite sweater.

YARN
Indigodragonfly Chameleon Sock 63% extra fine superwash merino/20% cashmere/17% silk; 366 m/400 yds per 100 g; 3 (3, 4, 4, 4) skeins MC (grey), 3 (3, 3, 3, 3) skeins CC (orange)

To make this sweater in a single colour, you will need 4 (5, 6, 7, 7) skeins of Chameleon Sock.

MATERIALS
• Needles of your choice (size needed to get gauge. See gauge notes for guidelines for choosing a needle size). 80 cm/32” minimum circular needle is recommended for working the neckline
• stitch markers: stationary and removable
• Stitch holder or scrap yarn
• tapestry/yarn needle

GAUGE
30 sts and 39 rows per 10 cm/4” in stockinette stitch, after blocking

Use needle size(s) required for you to get the above gauges. As a guideline, needles in the range of 2.75 mm/US 2 to 3.5 mm/US 4 would be a good place to start. I am a loose knitter and used 2.75 mm/US 2 needles to get the above gauge.

FINISHED SIZE
132 (147, 162.5, 178, 193) cm/52 (58, 64, 70, 76)” bust
30.5 (35.5, 40.5, 43, 45.72) cm/12 (14, 16, 17, 18)” armhole circumference

Sample version is worn with 22” ease in the full bust and 15” ease in the hips, however sleeve fit is the most important factor in ensuring a good fit for this sweater. I recommend choosing the size closest to your own arm size as follows:

  • measure your arm just above your elbow.
  • choose the size that closest to this measurement. For example, if your arm measurement is 15.5”, choose size C, which has a 16” armhole circumference.
