How-to project: two-needle knitted mittens with suede palm and thumb

Instructions are given for solid color mittens. To make
striped mittens as shown, change colors every four rows.
Mittens for both hands are knit the same.

A slightly larger mitten will be more comfortable, but
takes more body heat to keep warm.

Size
To fit circumference measured around knuckles:
6 (7 1/2, 9”) 15 (19.5, 23 cm)
hree basic sizes are given to fit children, women and men.

#4 medium weight yarn: Approximately 4 oz (114 g) / 250 yds (228 m)
