Two Peas in a Pod
Two Peas in a Pod is a cute, quick amigurumi crochet pattern that lets you make two tiny pea besties tucked inside their own pod. It’s beginner-friendly, no-sew, works up fast, and makes an adorable gift for a best friend or a perfect small item for craft fairs and shop updates.
While the PDF pattern is available to buy, there is a free YouTube tutorial as well (link below).
Pattern difficulty: beginner
The pattern uses basic stitches only and is worked in a spiral, in
typical amigurumi style.
This is a no-sew pattern, but it does require embroidery for the
mouth.
It takes about an hour on average to complete, and depending on
how thick a yarn you choose, it produces a small to medium plushie.
I used yarn under / yarn over method to crochet the peas in a pod,
but that is a preference, not a requirement.
The Two Peas in a Pod pattern is a quick and easy gift for a best
friend. It is also easy to stock for craft markets or your online shop.
Materials
Plush/chenille yarn (weight 6)
about 30 g /1 oz of any plush yarn that’s 120m (131 yards) / 100g
(3.5 oz)
if you choose thicker yarn, you will have to adjust your crochet
hook and your plushie will turn out slightly larger
I used Honey Bunny by Hobbii, but you can pick any brand you like
Crochet hook - 5mm (increase size if you pick a thicker yarn)
Stuffing - about 20g / 0.7 oz of stuffing/polyfill
Black yarn of your choice to embroider the mouth details
Stitch marker, yarn needle, scissors
