The Two Tendrils Shawl is a cozy triangular shawl with rich textures and a botanical touch. It is knitted in DK-weight yarn, mainly in stockinette stitch, with a column of leafy cables and slip-stitch ribs running down its center. When they reach the edging, the cables and ribs branch out to frame a stockinette diamond. The remainder of the edging is worked in a handsome slip-stitch ribbing.

With a quick four-row repeat, the leafy cables are easy to memorize, and they can be knitted without a cable needle. Watching each pretty pair of leaves take shape makes this a fun knit from start to finish.

Instructions are fully written, with two optional charts.

Although the pattern calls for DK-weight yarn, you can easily substitute worsted or sport. Just choose an appropriate needle size and repeat the four-row body pattern until you are happy with the dimensions.
