Materials needed:
100 yards chunky yarn – I used Muench Yarns “Big Baby” @
50 yards per skein
about 120 yards worsted weight – I used a little over half a
skein of Plymouth Encore @ 200 yards per skein note: you
will want more worsted weight yarn for a longer skirt
size 15, 24” circular needles
size 9 circular needles – 16-20” unless you prefer the magic
loop method and then by all means use longer ones!
Size 7 circular needles - for length see size 9
blunt sewing needle
1 stitch marker
Ribbon or Elastic to fasten skirt
fabric roses(optional)
Gauge:
All gauge taken from stockinette stitches in the round – I am only giving row gauge as a guideline, it
is not that pertinent
worsted gauge (size 9 needles and worsted yarn) 14sts x 26 rows = 4 inches
chunky gauge (size 15 needles and chunky yarn) 10sts x 14 rows = 4 inches
