Tyrrel is a simple, seamless slouchy hat with cables knitted from bottom up. Pick up one skein of DK yarn and make for Yourself a timeless hat that will keep You warm on cold days.

SIZES
One size: finished size: 48 cm / 19.25” to fit 55-57.5 cm / 22-23” head circumference.
Length (from CO to top): 24 cm / 9.5”

YARN
1 skein of Martin’s Lab Tyrrell DK (100% Polwarth Wool; 225m / 246y per 100g)
or any other DK weight yarn.
Sample shown in Drake colorway.

NEEDLES
3.75 mm (US #5) circular and dpns needles, or size needed to get the right gauge;
3.0 mm (US #2.5) circular and dpns needles, or three sizes smaller than the gauge needles.

ADDITIONAL MATERIALS
1 stitch marker, cable needle, tapestry needle for weaving ends.

GAUGE
27.5 sts and 32 rounds = 10 x 10 cm / 4” x 4” in cable pattern with 3.75 mm (US #5) needles, unstretched, after wet blocking.
33 sts and 8 rounds = 12 x 2.5 cm / 4.75 x 1 “ - one repeat in cable pattern with 3.75 mm (US #5) needles, unstretched, after wet blocking.
Adjust needle size if necessary to get given gauge.
