Uaine is an effective asymmetric shawl, knitted in a simple slip-stitch pattern and finished with an I-cord bind off.

Finished measurements: 141cm/55” wingspan length; 38cm/ 15” deep

Yarn: DK weight

Materials used: 2 skeins of Iolair Yarn Eosa (212m/231yds/100g) or use any DK yarn as a substitute.

Gauge: 21sts & 32 rows = 10cm/ 4” in pattern stitch, unblocked, but exact gauge is not crucial

Needles: 4mm/ US 6 size circular needle in 80cm/32” length

Construction Notes: The shawl begins on one end of the corner and is worked length width to the other end by a combination of decreases and increases at the beginning and end of rows.
