ULA+LIA are a yarn company based in Mongolia where they work with local yak, camel and cashmere goat cooperatives, producing beautiful and affordable yarn. I was so impressed by the quality of their yarn that I have decided to offer this design named after them for free, hoping to give their gorgeous products the exposure they deserve. Please visit their website, I am sure you will be impressed.

This is a textured, reversible, unisex scarf featuring an interesting cable pattern that looks completely different on the wrong side.

Parallel stripes of different textures are separated by lines of one twisted knit stitch that is slipped on the other side, framing the stripes. The two travelling knit stitches in the cable are crossed over two purl stitches giving the reverse side a two knit stitch sinuous line.

Materials: 4 skeins of Ula + Lia Mongolian Baby Yak Wool Yarn 8 ply (DK weight) - 100% Mongolian Yak Wool (196 metres/215 yards per 100 grams). Pictured in Natural Milk Chocolate. 100g will result in around 50cm of scarf, so you can adjust the length according to your preference.
