These socks are such a treat for your feet, and SO COMFY!!! (And they really could be considered slippers also.) I designed these socks for my mother-in-law, whose feet always seem to be cold. And seriously, people, these are such a quick knit! If I didn’t have young children, I could have easily finished BOTH of these socks in one day. Instead, they took me two days :) I used a super bulky yarn that is 20% wool and 80% acrylic. 100% wool in a super bulky yarn might be a bit too warm, but then again, there may be that person in your life who needs that extra warmth! I needed half a skein for the contrast color, and 2 skeins for the main color, and I made them for size 7 feet. If you are making for a larger foot, you may need an extra skein of the main color.
You may also choose to add a few dots of hot glue on the soles of the socks to help on slippery floors.
