The Ultraviolence Scarf is a triangular shawl decorated with a delicate heart lace pattern, finished with neat borders and closed off with an i-cord bind off that gives it a polished silhouette and prevents the knit from rolling.

This scarf is knitted starting from the tip, with increases worked on every row to gradually shape the triangle. The simple heart lace pattern is worked along the way to decorate the piece, while neat borders are built in as you go. The final bind off uses the i-cord method, matching the finish of the borders and keeping the scarf from rolling. As for yarn choices, the red sample is knitted in Fonty BB Mérinos for a neat look, while the brown sample is worked in Fonty Saperlipopette for a more delicate finish.
The name “Ultraviolence” pays tribute to Lana Del Rey’s album, one of my all-time favorites :)
