As I was knitting this shawl, the phrase “as simple as one, two, three” kept going through my mind; French just sounds fancier. To create this crescent shape, you will increase by six stitches every two rows—three stitches on each edge. By keeping all the lace repeats divisible by three, I created three sizes of diamonds that flow seamlessly into one another.
