This cardigan, inspired by a cherished friend, is January’s design and will get your collection started. Work this up with just one color or add as many stripes as you wish! The pattern will match up to your creative vision.

After creating the back panel, you can use this as a gauge swatch. It should measure approximately 2 3/8”W x 2 2/1” H. Adjust your hook or tension to meet gauge and ensure your final ornament is at a good size for hanging on a tree.

3-weight yarn made of a soft cotton/acrylic blend works well for this pattern. I found a set of 20 (generic brand) mini skeins in a variety of colors online.
