Unda
This pattern can also be found in issue 2 of Laine Magazine.
Unda is a beautiful, asymmetrical triangle shawl that is knit using a combination of faux cable two-colour brioche and garter stitch. The simple construction and interesting texture make it a classic with a modern twist.
This shawl is knit from tip to edge, with increases along one side. The shawl begins with a faux brioche cable pattern, which continues along the left edge as garter stitch texture continues to grow with increases made on the right edge. Consecutive faux brioche cables are then added while the garter stitch continues along the bias. The shawl is bound off at the longest edge, with the garter stitch and brioche almost equal in width.
Sample was knit in colourways Ivory Letter Opener and Crystal Goblet.
This pattern is both written and partially charted, for your convenience.
