Unda is Latin for “wave.”

The slipover is knitted from the top down, holding 2 strands of yarn together throughout, using 5 mm needles.

It is worked entirely in cables and features a slightly longer yoke/drop-shoulder construction, with an I-cord cast-on and I-cord bind-off.

Sizes:

Garment measurements:
After knitting, block the garment to the measurements below. This also gives you plenty of opportunity to adjust the measurements to your own preference.

Approx. bust circumference:
64 (80) 94 (112) 114 (128) 132 cm

Approx. total length:
50 (52) 52 (58) 60 (62) 64 cm

The model in the photos is wearing size 3 with approx. 9 cm of positive ease.

Yarn requirements:
I used Jak yarn from Garnbar.no, 100 g / 425 m (30% yak / 30% merino / 40% silk).

Possible alternatives include Huldra Kamgarn from Hillesvåg, Osloull from Oslo Mikrospinneri, or Forsterket Garn from Kvitlammet.
You can also use 1 strand of Double Sunday from Sandnes Garn (without a second strand).

Held together with Alpaca Silk from Rauma Garn, 25 g / 200 m.
Silk Mohair from Isager can be used as an alternative.

Jak:

Alpaca Silk:

Gauge:
One cable repeat of 25 sts × 25 rnds = 8 × 8 cm after washing and blocking.

Suggested needles:
5 mm circular needles, 40 cm and 80 cm
(or just an 80 cm circular needle using the Magic Loop method).
