Named Under The Tree Tops because the cables in the brim reminded me of tree trunks, giving the feeling of being underneath the tree tops.

This is a simple hat pattern which features cables in the rib, and the main body of the hat is simple stocking stitch (stockinette). It would be a great project for someone first learning how to do cables.

Sizing

Choose a size approximately 5cm / 2” smaller than actual head circumference:

Newborn: 30cm / 11 ¾“ circumference, 13cm / 5 ⅛” height
Baby: 35cm / 13 ¾“ circumference, 15cm / 5 ⅞” height
Toddler: 40cm / 15 ¾“ circumference, 17cm / 6 ¾” height
Child/Teen: 45cm / 17 ¾“ circumference, 19cm / 7 ½” height
Adult Medium: 50cm / 19 ¾“ circumference, 21cm / 8 ¼” height
Adult Large: 55cm / 21 ⅝“ circumference, 23cm / 9” height
