Understory Wrap
As I normally wrap up working on my countdown patterns, it’s in the late autumn. I’m usually working on these when the leaves are falling and the and all the flora is going into dormancy here in Ohio. When the boys and I walk to the bus stop or guitar lessons we love to find the leaves that have the best “crunch”. The Understory is the lowest layer of the forest and I let flora in all stages of decay inspire the motifs in this wrap.
This wrap was designed to maximize the yarn in your DK countdown. I really wanted you to be able to use as much as you could with as little waste as possible. I also wanted to make a very wearable and easily knitable countdown for your holiday season.
If you loved this wrap, please feel free to share on Ravelry and instagram using the hashtag #understorywrap and #larkspurknits. I have lots of other great countdown style patterns available too if you have other kits to knit up! Thanks for your support as always and happy knitting!
