As a child, I spent countless afternoons in our small community’s public pool. Those afternoons were filled with fun, adventure, sunscreen, and salt water taffy from the nearby concession stand. When the pool was especially quiet, I swam to the “deep end.” Diving all the way down to the bottom, I floated along the floor, watching the bubbles from my nose rise to the surface far above while I pretended to be a dolphin or mermaid. These memories are, in part, what inspired this wrap.

A classic wrap that is knit on the bias, this textured pattern can be easily memorized and is intended to be a meditative knit. A great way to play with color, I recommend using all or parts of a mini skein set and two larger skeins. Due to its simple shaping and texture, this pattern is easily customizable.

My favorite aspects of this design is the coziness of the wrap. Wearing it feels like a daylong hug while working in my office, and the textured pattern makes it delightfully squishy without too much bulk. When I need an extra pick-me-up or joy-jumper for my day at work, I pull this wrap out. <3
