“Undique” is Latin for “from all sides.” This long, supple shawl lives up to its name: it wraps you in comfort from every angle and is just as beautiful on the front as it is on the back.
No matter how you drape it around your shoulders or neck, Undique will keep you wonderfully warm while looking effortlessly elegant.
The shawl features a gently curved, asymmetrical triangle shape and three simple pattern sections. The knitting is relaxed and enjoyable—perfect even for beginners with basic skills.

Shape and dimensions

The triangular shape of the shawl is asymmetrical, its lines are curved. After washing and blocking, the shawl has a span of approx. 50 inches (127 cm) from one lateral tip to the other.
At its widest point, it measures approx. 18.5 inches (47 cm) from the top edge to the bottom tip. The longer wing is approx. 48 inches (123 cm) long and the shorter one approx. 37 inches (95 cm).
Dimensions may vary depending on the yarn weight and needle size.

Material
• approx. 200g / 600 m of merino yarn (ultrafine or extrafine for the softness), fingering or sport,
100g thereof in color 1 (e.g. hand-dyed yarn, here: stone gray with cinnamon-colored speckles)
and 100g in color 2 (e.g. solid color cinnamon)
• circular knitting needle 3 mm (US 2.5), 80 cm (32 inches) or 100 cm (40 inches)
• darning needle to weave in ends

„Undique“ ist lateinisch und bedeutet „von allen Seiten“. Das langgestreckte, anschmiegsame Tuch hat diesen Namen verdient, weil es nicht nur rundum kuschelig ist, sondern auch beidseitig schön.
Ganz egal wie du das Tuch um Schultern und Hals drapierst, es wird toll aussehen und dich superweich warmhalten.
Undique hat eine geschwungene, asymmetrische Dreieckform und drei einfache Musterabschnitte.
Also ist genussvolles und entspanntes Stricken angesagt, auch für Anfänger mit Grundkenntnissen.

Form und Maße

Die Form des Tuches ist asymmetrisch dreieckig, seine Linien sind geschwungen. Nach dem Waschen und Blocken hat das Tuch eine Spannweite von ca. 127 cm von einer seitlichen Spitze zur anderen.
An der breitesten Stelle misst es ungefähr 47 cm vom oberen Rand bis zur unteren Spitze. Der längere Flügel ist ca. 123 cm lang und der kürzere ca. 95 cm.
Je nach Garn und Nadelstärke können die Abmessungen abweichen.

• ca. 200g / 600 m Merinowolle (Ultrafine oder Extrafine wegen der Weichheit) in Garnstärke 4- oder 5-fädig (Fingering oder Sport),
davon 100g in Farbe 1 (z.B. handgefärbt, hier: Steingrau mit Zimtsprenkeln)
und 100g in Farbe 2 (z.B. einfarbig, hier: Zimt)
• eine Rundstricknadel 3 mm (US 2.5), 80 cm (32 inches) oder 100 cm (40 inches)
• eine Stopfnadel zum Vernähen der Fäden
