Final measurements: The Unicardi is worn with 6”/15 cm of positive ease in the upper body portion. Model has a bust size of 34”/86 cm and is wearing the size M 40”/102 cm size. Finished sizes 36(38, 40, 42, 44, 46, 48, 50)”/91(97, 102, 107, 112, 117, 122, 127) cm.

Gauge: 12 stitches and 12 rows per 4”/10 cm in Loop Stitch.

Needles: (2) 16” (2) 40” circular needles in size needed to achieve gauge listed above (suggested size: US 11/8mm & 10/6mm). If you wish to substitute your 16” needles for DPNS, feel free to do so!

Materials used: Yarndyeries Merino Silk (Worsted; 85% Merino/15% Silk; 215 yds/100 g (to be held double)/plus 1 strand of Filatura Di Crosa’s Superior (Lace; 70% Cashmere, 30% Silk) OR any other combination of yarns that knits up to desired gauge.

Yardage:

Main yarn: 750(792, 836, 902, 946, 990, 1034, 1100) total yds worsted (to be held double). You could also replace the 2 strands of worsted with 1 strand of bulky weight.
Accent yarn: 558(582, 606, 642, 645, 714, 750) yds laceweight.

Would you like to add length to the body of your Unicardi? If so, you’ll need an additional 32/17, 34/18, 35/19, 37/20, 39/21, 40/22, 42/23, 44/24) yds per added inch.

Other notions: Stitch markers, crochet hook/tapestry needle, scrap yarn/stitch holder and scissors.
