This pattern came from my drawing of a unicorn that is traveling to different worlds, using portals and paths through space.

This chart pattern is designed so that 3 stitches by 5 rows makes a square. It has 9 colors (or 6, if you choose to use multicolored yarn instead of separate colors), but colors are up to you. Finished size depends on your stitch size, yarn, and needle size.
