Unicorn snuggler
A very easy crocheted unicorn comforter. This toy is perfect for babies and toddlers. There are a lot of photos in the pattern that will simplify the crochet process :)
❤ What languages is the pattern available in?
English, French, German and in Spanish.
❤ Is this no sew?
No, some parts are sewn with a needle. Namely, the head to the body, the ears to the head and so on.
❤ Is the pattern complicated?
For beginners, there may be problems, but if you know the base of crochet and crocheting abbreviations (sc, inc, dec, and so on) it will be very easy for you on the contrary. By the way, I wrote an abreviated crochet pattern below.
What do you need to know?
● The size of the hooks plays a big role, the larger the hook, the softer the toy will be.
Materials for Crocheting
• Crochet hook — 4.5 mm.
• White yarn «Premium Yarn Baby Love» № 301.
• Lilac yarn «Premium Yarn Baby Love» № 305.
• Pink yarn «Premium Yarn Baby Love» № 319.
• Yellow yarn «Premium Yarn Baby Love» № 302.
• Black acrylic yarn «Gazzal Baby Cotton» (for the eyes).
• Holofiber stuffing.
• Scissors.
• Embroidery needle.
The unicorn size is approximately 43 cm (about 17 inches), depending on the crochet hook you use.
The best substitute for «Premium Yarn Baby Love» is «Himalaya Dolphin Baby».
Dimensions of the yarn I used:
• The length - 120 meters.
• Weight - 100 grams.
• The thread thickness - 6 mm. Super Bulky.
To make this adorable unicorn, it’s best to have two skeins of the main color (white) — that way you’ll be sure you have enough for every part. For all the other colors, one skein is perfectly enough I used a 4.5 mm hook with this yarn — it’s really comfortable to work with. You can choose a larger hook if you’d like a bigger unicorn, but smaller ones will make crocheting more difficult.
You’re free to choose any colors you love for your unicorn. The hooves can be pink or yellow, the horn can be blue, purple — just let your imagination lead the way. Make your unicorn truly yours
Don’t worry if something doesn’t look perfect on the first try — that’s totally normal! What matters is the journey and the joy of creating something with your own hands.
Beginner-friendly and super fun to make — this unicorn is perfect for everyone!
