Unity
Unity, a state of togetherness, or harmony of being, thought or deed.
These fingerless mitts are made with 2 yarns worked together as one. You could use 2 yarns of the same colour or empty your scrap bag and unite all your odds and ends into one glorious and unique pair of mitts.
Unity mitts are knitted with two strands of 4ply/fingering yarn held together. The pattern is written for 5 sizes, from children through to large adults. They are worked in-the-round, from wrist-up, with a ribbed cuff, and thumb gusset. There are short, medium, or long options for the ribbing at the fingers and thumbs. The long ribbing can be worn folded back out of the way or covering the fingers for extra warmth.
Sizes: to fit a palm circumference of
XS/5-8yrs: 14cm/5.5”
S/10yrs/small adult: 17cm/6.5”
M/medium adult: 19cm/7.5”
L/large adult: 22cm/8.5”
XL/extra-large adult: 24cm/9.5”
Please note, ages are approximate. It is always best to go by hand measurement when that is possible.
