Karen’s Unpatterns let you choose any yarn you like and swatch it up in the stitch pattern of your choice in a gauge you like.

Measure a ‘template garment’ – one that fits you well, take pertinent measurements on the note sheet provided, and then work up a custom-fit sweater!

This one is for a sleeveless tank top or shell, worked from the bottom up. Instructions for ‘girlie shaping’ torso contouring, as well as Karen’s signature ‘Purl Darts’ are also included.

You have your choice of V-necks or rounded necks (crew-, scoop-, or turtlenecks), and the option of working flat or circularly, as you desire.

While the sample shown has ruffles and feminine details, the Unpattern has various instructions for how to make a pullover with different necklines and edging details, so it is appropriate for mens’ or unisex pieces.
