Since everyone was going to Hogwarts, I decided to get ready for my first year at the Unseen University.

I wanted a big, bulky scarf with a geeky pattern that no-one could have. So I made my own.

The scarf measures 186.5cm x 22 cm.

One end presents the unofficial motto of the Unseen University (Eta Beta Pi), and the other end shows the shield (unofficial too) of the University.
As it is easier to make horizontal stripes than vertical ones, I made it horizontally. It takes 120cm needles in 4mm gauge.
Also, as the wrong side was pretty ugly, I doubled the scarf with a piece of a red fleece blanket. This way it is warmer and prettier :)

As this is my first try of making a pattern, I may have made some mistakes so please let me know if anything goes wrong.
