This is a lace baby cap knit out of handcarded unspun rolags. It is shaped like a bonnet and has ribbon ties. The original cap used .35 oz Corriedale ewe’s wool and 1 yard of 1/4” silk ribbon. The finished dimensions are 6” from cast on to bind off at rim of cap. The outer edge is 14” long.

The person who added this pattern to the Ravelry data base successfully knit one out of 21.8 g. (approximately 75 m.) of fingering weight yarn using the needles called for in the pattern.

Gauge: Arrowhead lace repeat is 1.25” wide and 1.5” long using 3.0 mm. needles
