Unsquared Sleeves are named after my favorite Jazz song, Unsquared Dance by Dave Brubeck. The irregular and not so square purl and knit rib pattern reminded me of this song.
The sleeves are designed with a thumbhole so that they can keep your hands warm or can be folded over, when you need your hands free.
This pattern works great with high or low contrast yarns.
The yarn will be enough to work the sleeves and matching Unsquared Hat.

Construction Notes
The directions for the sleeves are written to work the magic loop technique. Alternatively, the sleeves can be worked with double pointed needles. The sleeves are worked in the round until the thumbhole section. Work this section flat and after that continue in the round. A crochet edge is worked around the thumbhole for a clean finish. The sleeves are identical and reversible.
Pattern comes with written and charted directions.
