My fascination with geometric shapes continues - this “cardie shawl” began with a rhomboid for the back, then I worked two front pieces side-to-side, and included a ribbed shawl “collar” to complete it. Not really a shawl, because the lower edges are joined with a tiny seam…but not really a vest either. It can be left open at the front or pinned together with a shawl pin…double-breasted or asymmetrical…so many ways to wear it!

I made the model with 2 strands of knitting-worsted yarn, but you could just as easily use a single strand of chunky yarn.
