This pattern is made by crocheting a coating of yarn for some old Christmas baubles that I didn’t have the heart to throw out. Then the baubles are placed together and sewn to make the Christmas tree shape.

Exact gauge and yarn are not that important as long as your yarn corresponds to a 4 mm crochet hook.

You can always do more increase rows to make the coat larger or do less to make it smaller to fit your baubles.

What’s most important is to have fun with this project and it will surely turn out great!

I’ve also decorated it with items I had around the house, such as buttons, beads, cotton wool…
