Up North is a common phrase in Minnesota. Up North is not a direction, it is a place. “Up North” is where you can find Minnesota’s cabins, campgrounds, loons, and resorts. It is often cold Up North so these mitts will come in handy. They are rustic and perfect for placing wood on the campfire (just don’t use acrylic).

These mitts are perfect for using up smaller balls of bulky handspun. They are a fast knit and can be done in an evening, fantastic for last minute gift knitting.
