PATTERN NOTES
If your shirt has sleeves, carefully remove them; leave 1/4 inch of fabric to turn under when stitching on sleeve trim. This will give your garment a more finished look.
Using a beginning foundation single crochet creates a trim with slightly more stretch than a beginning chain. This is important when using the trim on a shirt made with knit fabric.
When sewing the trim onto the T-shirt, stretch both pieces slightly as you sew. A T-shirt is designed to stretch as it’s put on and your stitches need to accommodate that stretch.
Carefully measure the armhole and neckline for best results.
Join with a slip stitch unless otherwise instructed.
