This hat is knit from the bottom up in the round and features a fun and interesting slip stitch cable pattern. It uses DK and Mohair yarns held together. Kits are available here.

GAUGE:
Using both yarns held together:
1 motif (18 sts and 12 rounds) = 31⁄4” / 8 cm across and 11⁄2” / 3.8 cm high after
blocking
OR 22 sts and 32 rounds = 4” / 10 cm in cable pattern after blocking.

NEEDLES:
US 7 / 4.5 mm DPNs and/or circular needle, 16” / 40 cm length or longer for
magic loop
Always use a needle size that will result in the correct gauge after blocking.
