Knitrino works like a magazine publishing curated pattern collections for a limited time, after which the rights revert to the designer. This pattern is no longer available in Knitrino.

Knitrino is a newly launched technology created by two sisters publishing interactive patterns. Knitrino is like Google Maps for knitting patterns: Click a stitch to see how to do it, highlight your current place, track your progress step by step, see charts in your yarn colors, see only your size, and more. Knitrino’s goal is to make knitting more accessible, and to help people grow into the knitters they aspire to be! This innovative app is for knitters longing for better pattern usability and navigation using small screens. There is no PDF associated with this pattern. It is available in both iOS and Android, download at:

Introducing the Uplift Shawl, a breathtaking new design by Rosemary (Romi) Hill, featuring Julie Asselin’s Nurtured Yarn in Worsted Weight. This is a knitting experience sure to make your spirit soar! Romi is known for her combinations of different textures and techniques, and this shawl has it all: texture, mosaic and lace with a diamond motif that evolves with each new technique.

Nurtured by Julie Asselin is a blend of American Ramboulliet, Targhee, and Merino sheep fleece, dyed before it is spun; each sheep breed takes dye in a different way which results in a lovely heathered look when blended together. If you’ve never tried Nurtured, you’re in for a treat. Not only is it divine to work with, it’s all about promoting and sustaining North American wools.

The KAL begins with a Cast On Party on October 21st via Zoom, and every purchase also includes an invitation to join the KAL in the Knitrino Slack Community

What knitters are saying

“Wendy: Keeping track and following a pattern in Knitrino is effortless in a way I didn’t know I was missing till I had it.”

McKenzie: “I am super impressed with Knitrino. I thought working from an app would feel cumbersome, but instead it has made my usual pattern placekeeping system on paper seem cumbersome.”

Michelle: “I never want to knit another pattern that’s not in Knitrino ever again.”

We know Knitrino isn’t for everyone. We are a small indie production of quality, curated patterns, like a magazine. You cannot import PDFs (there are good tools for this already). Because of the nature of our interactive tools each pattern is lovingly built by us and takes countless hours to create. We are aiming to uplift the creative work of indie designers and pay them generously upfront, about twice what most magazines pay. Please reach out to us with any questions support@knitrino.com
