Upton Park is a simple yet sophisticated boat neck pullover with tapered sleeves and swingy A-line shaping. It is knit from side to side in two pieces, beginning at the sleeve cuffs and ending at the center of the sweater. Short rows are used to create the A-line shaping. Decorative center seams are created by joining the two pieces with a three-needle bind off on the right side of the sweater. The body of the sweater is knit flat on a circular needle to accommodate the large number of stitches.
