Upward Spiral is an easy bottom-up summer hat, slightly slouchy, with a spiraling lace pattern.

A great pattern for an adventurous beginner or a more experienced knitter looking for a relaxed summer knit. The one-row spiral pattern makes an easy first foray into lace knitting.

Any Aran yarn can be substituted for Berroco Remix, although I recommend using a cotton blend for warm weather.

If you make one and have a camera handy, I’d love to see project page pictures of your finished hat!
