Urak
This is the sixteenth square released for the In Mawwi blanket, this pattern was originally released as a graph on an ELCG (East London Crochet Group) worksheet in October 2023, I have now added the written instructions and added the photo of the reverse of the square as well as the front.
This square is worked in Interlocking/double filet crochet from the bottom up.
Double Filet crochet is very similar to interlocking crochet where you work two filet nets interwoven, and this square is a great example of this with the centre section of the square front and back being clearly separate.
Please take care on the foundation row of this square, once the set up is done its a fairly easy square.
Just a reminder that the reason that I have released these as free is that although the pattern is perfect things like the photos and grammar may not be.
There are no instructions for joining the squares, every one has their own preferences but I use the standard front lacing method that the ELCG use.
