Urban Poncho - This delightful knit has a unique neckline and permanent buttons at the side that make for a more fitted look. The front and back are knit separately with a few short rows at the shoulder to create a gentle slope. Shoulders are joined with a 3-needle bind off for a smooth finish. Cowl-style neck is knit in the round after the shoulders are joined.
Finally, you pick up and knit the edge stitches along the sides of the poncho. The finishing touches are the buttons, 3 for the front neckline, and 4 are needed for the sides.
Yarn used should be soft and drapey. I like Berroco Remix and Knit Picks Shine for example.

2 sizes are given, S/M and L/XL because as a poncho these will fit a range of sizes.
Finished Bust & length: Being that this is a poncho, please note that it will be an oversized, drapey fit.
Finished bust for the size S/M is around 44”, length is 23 3/4”.
Finished bust for the size L/XL is around 45”, Length is 24 3/4”
