The colour of this yarn mixed with the texture of the granite stitch makes me think of cold polar bear noses and cozy winter nights. This hat is a great beginner pattern, utilizing k2tog and k1p1 to create a fun but simple texture in the hat itself.

The hat is written in two sizes, but can easily be scaled up or down as long as you cast on a multiple of two.
