Literally translating to “earflap hat” the Ushanka is a classic garment in Russia and other cold northern regions of the globe – because it’s sooooo warm to wear! Additionally I designed a vintage-style muff out of the same faux fur yarn, because who doesn’t love a big fluffy arm sock?

This set uses Jumbo faux fur yarn to create easy and super fun accessories that work up in just one afternoon. The Ushanka looks great with earflaps tied up or down, or leave the flaps off entirely to make a sleek fur cap. The vintage style Muff makes this an adorable matching set, and is a classic solution to keeping your hands warm without having them pinned inside your pockets!
