Ushya Hat
CONSTRUCTION
The hat is knitted in the round in one piece from the bottom up.
TECHNIQUES USED
Cast on, knit, purl, decreasing, knitting in the round..
YARN
One hank of Ushya.
SUGGESTED KNITTING NEEDLES
9mm and 10mm (40cm length) circular needles.
10mm double pointed needles.
GAUGE (tension)
10 stitches and 14 rows to 10cm square over garter stitch. I obtained this gauge with 10mm needles. It is important to obtain gauge so do swatch and change your needle size to achieve the correct gauge if you need to.
SIZE & FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
To fit adult head. Due to the nature of the rib pattern & individual gauges the finished circumference can vary from 48cm to 58cm.
