This pattern makes one sleeve-style case for a pair of eyeglasses or sunglasses. It is ribbed, both for protection of the glasses and for stretchiness- to fit whatever size glasses you wear! It is also knit double-stranded, so that it is thicker and more protective of your glasses.
Gauge doesn’t matter for this much, as long as your flat swatch doubles up enough to fit a pair of glasses inside.
