A classic V Neck cardigan for baby made on your standard gauge knitting machine and ribber. Written with a Brother machine in mind, but can be used with any standard gauge machine with ribber.

Pattern includes 4 sizes: Preemie, 3 months, 6 months and 12 months.

Gauge (Using Michael’s Loops & Threads yarn or a similar yarn such as Lion Brand Amazing Lace, Stylecraft Wondersoft 2-ply or Sidar, Snuggly 2 ply)
34 sts & 48 rows = 4”

Chest sizes: 16”, 18”, 20”, 22”
Sleeve length (at armhole): 5”, 5-1/2”, 6”, 6-1/2”

Pattern features 3 original punchcard designs (owls, squirrels and sunflowers) for Autumn that are included - though this sweater would be great ANY time of the year plain, striped or whatever.

There are NO side seams - body is knit as one piece and then the two raglan sleeves are knit separately and seamed on. This makes it ideal for fairisle patterns that wrap around the entire sweater!

Pattern has charts with all of the decreases already figured out for you so you just pick your size, buy your yarn, print off your charts and BOOM - you’re ready to go. Detailed instructions also include photos, extra notes and tips to give you lots of help along the way.

You will also need 3 or 4 1/2” buttons or, if you prefer, snaps can also be used if buttons or buttonholes aren’t your thing.

Yarn usage from 1.6 - 2.6 ounces, so you can make this with less than a skein of yarn.

Note: Loops & Threads Woolike yarn is 85% Manufactured Fibers - Acrylic, 15% Manufactured Fibers - Nylon / Polyamide. It is SO super soft against baby’s skin!

Washing instructions:
Machine wash warm, gentle cycle. Wash with like colors. Tumble dry low. Non-chlorine bleach when needed. Do not iron.
