Here’s another c2c with a difference part of my Holy Moley collection. It uses a v st of 2dc ch2 2dc instead of the usual c2c blocks. It alternates one row of v sts with one row of chains. It looks much more complicated than it is. It is basically a 2 row repeat to the widest part then a different 2 row repeat to reduce to the final corner. It is very lightweight and lacey suitable for summer. This blanket was made with one cake of yarn and I used a random piece of yarn for the border.
This is a really quick blanket to work up, it took me about 20 hours to complete. Final size on one cake was 30 ins by 29 ins, with a border of whatever design you wish on top of that. I have used a simple double round of dc.

If you hit any problems please contact me and I’ll try to help. This is not a professional pattern, I just enjoy playing around with designs and seeing what I can come up with.

My usual way of working is to offer the pattern free for a month or so and if I don’t get any negative comments, then I know it is a sound pattern. I don’t use testers because I like to work at a pace and not wait for tester comments to come in. I realise this is a risky gamble but so far other than a term some people had not come across I have not had any issues with the patterns.
