Vaala-hat is a slouchy hat worked in the round from the brim up. The pattern has two options for the brim, normal and sloped brim shaped with short rows.

Body finished circumference 43.5, 47.25, 51 cm/ 17, 18.5, 20 inches.
Height approximately 22 cm/ 8.75 inches.

Yarn

80-100 g of worsted weight yarn, app. 210 m (230 yds) per 100 g. The sample (size L) was knitted with Nordic Yarn Eco Cashmere, (100% Cashmere, 150 m/ 164 yds per 50 g) in colourway Vaala and used 55 g. Note that Eco Cashmere knits up with worsted wt gauge despite the yardage.

3.75 mm/ US 5 and 4.5 mm/ US 7 (80 cm/ 32 inches or longer for magic loop) circular needle, or set of DPNs or size to obtain gauge
markers, tapestry needle for weaving in ends

19 sts x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm/ 4 x 4 inches with larger needles in stockinette stitch after blocking
